Visit the USS Constitution. Just be sure to duck when below deck.

Walk the Freedom Trail. Old North Church, Paul Revere's house, Boston Tea Party ships and museum. Go to Cambridge (3 mi. from Boston) see Harvard & MIT. Go to Lexington and Concord or Salem (Witch trials).

Boston area is tour site rich. So much history.

We had a great vacation in Boston a few years back. Lots of those ideas are listed here.

          North End
          Mike’s
          Harvard
          Martha’s Vineyard day trip
          Fenway
          Neptune’s for Lobster Roll
          * pro tip, try to go at non lunch or dinner times

We stayed at the Boston Plaza and it’s a perfect spot to walk the city in.

like everyone said, North End for great Italian food and canoles. There is also the Union Oyster House in the North End, supposed to be the oldest restaurant in the country and great food as well. Our hotel the last couple of times has been across the street from Legal Seafood on the harbor.

Since you are going to Fenway, you can book the tour of Fenway for the day of the game, and if you book the last tour of the day, it takes place during batting practice and you get to go down on the field for pictures. IT was my understanding that they only go on the filed on the last tour of the day.

Bell in hand, JJ foley’s, corner bar(dive but really cool), black rose, Ned Devine’s. Lobster rolls/Mac n cheese on the bay, duck boat tour(cheesy but informative), baseball, museum, bunker hill, freedom trail, and I’m sure I’m forgetting a bunch. It’s been one of my favorite places to ever visit.
