I had a snake last evening who had a egg in his throat who was still in the laying box. Shot it 5 times in its head, beat it to death with a board. Know they prey in doubles. Lost eggs tonight and two golf balls. Hate snakes, any kind. The hunt is on!!!

My 2 jack Russell's killed a fat water snake yesterday. Stretched it out, and pulled the hide off of it in seconds. Pretty fun to watch them work.

We deal with them all the time. Yes, they will bite the snot out of you if you grab them or step on them. But out of the hundreds I've worked around over the years all have fled.
Now I've had cotton mouths swim up for a closer look.

Water snake all the way. They will flatten out when alarmed as well. I think their scales look heavier , more like armor, than a cotton mouths as well.

So every once in a while my wife will send me a text. It’ll be a picture of a snake with the question, “good or bad?”. If I’m not quick enough with a response the next text will be, “ picked it up and put it in an ice chest so you can take care of him when you get home.”
By golly, I sure do love this gal.
