I just left Magers on the Frio. Flow is Zero, water level is great for chilling in your chair and drinking cold beer. Further down the river water level is worse. Kids and wife all still had a great time. If you’re one who likes to float, it’s not happening.

We are staying just below Magers at Camp Riverview, we don't care about floating. All we need is some water to put our chairs in, chill and sip some cold ones.

        Thank you for the update!

You’re welcome! We always stay at Camp Riverview, but we’re staying at the ranch near batesville this weekend. We stayed at camp riverview in June and it was great.

Staying at Frio Country Resort in Concan last weekend of this month…any update on water around that area? We stay in beach cabins at the end that has a nice swimming hole and tree swing. Just seeing if anyone can give info on that particular area. Thanks!!!

We did t stay at the resort but stayed at one if their houses near house pasture. We didn’t even set foot in the river. Played golf, the course is in great shape, and hung out at the house. Drove to 7 bluffs and it was pitiful.

We went 2 years ago and the River was super low. Looks like we’ll cancel this year as well…

Went a few weeks ago and the best spots we found were at Garner and seven bluffs. Garner was still over my head. Kids were jumping out of the trees and using the rope swings.

We were there 7th - 11th. Neal's has water and Garner has water not much else. Wasn't much behind Heartstone (2nd low water crossing), what was there was stagnant. Luckily the house has a pool.

We’re at Garner now, heading home tomorrow. We went back and forth i. Whether or not to cancel. Im glad we decided to come, the river is in sad shape but like others have said garner has good water down at the dam, we spent our days there or sitting in front of the swamp cooler. Still been a good trip.

We just returned and it was a great trip. Obviously there was no tubing or Kayaking but there is still water flowing into swimming holes. The kids had a great time swimming, we caught a Kevin Fowler show at House Pasture, and got up early to hike Garner State Park one day. Glad we didn’t cancel and already have reservations for next year. Pray for rain.

Was there 2 weeks ago there is still water flowing in areas and we have a friend that has a place up near Leakey and it seemed to be better up there I think the springs are stronger in that area or have not been leached by development as much yet but there is still pools to hang out in and enjoy but everyone needs rain bad we must all pray it comes sooner than later...

We are here now. Most all RV parks we have seen are closed and empty, Parkview is about 60% capacity. All this means WAY fewer people.

And there is water flowing over the wall down by Mager's.
