Is that the same thing as a Shoulder Clod?

Why ruin the best steak ever with any kind of sauce?

Love Chuck eyes and they are really easy on the wallet as well.

I believe you only get two chuck eyes per animal so they don't usually have a lot of them. They aren't super hard to find but not as plentiful as a lot of the other cuts

Chuck steaks yes, Chuck eyes not as much. There is a difference.

              That's a kids meal.

Well! Scored some chuck eye at HEB this morning. Not as good as rib eye. Definitely a cheaper cut. But at less than half price I'm sold. I can now eat twice as much steak!

Cool! Like anything, there are variations between steaks of the same cut. Some are just ok, but I have had some chuck eyes that were just as good as ribeye's, in my opinion. I have some ribeye's that were just okay. But the price makes a decent chuck eye a lot easier to swallow, pun intended.

If you have to put sauce on a steak something isn't right.

Flat Irons are great. We cut them off deer also. Very tasty.
