windows replacement cost question

I got our windows from Lowes and installed them myself.

Best thing we did for our house built in the 70's. Aside from adding insulation in the attic.

same here. The ones from HD or Lowe's I've put in myself have never given me trouble but ones a contractor put in, several of those are now fogged up and are very difficult to raise /lower. Then the guy wouldn't honor the window warranty. I'll never have anyone put in windows again!

Not full replacement but we had about 9 get fogged up and we had just the glass replaced and it was around $100 a window installed.
