By "the science", your mask protects me and my mask protects you. Vaccinated people can still get and spread the virus. Now vaccinated people aren't having to wear a mask, but unvaccinated people are. At least it makes sense.

First off, we got $250 direct deposited to our bank account if we show our vaccination card which I did. Secondly, we have to sign a form saying that we have been vaccinated and turn in to our HR department in order to not have to wear a mask. If we lie on the form then we can be disciplined up to and including termination and I don't think anyone here wants to sacrifice a good paying job that also includes what could be a net $25,000 annual profit sharing check at the end of the year. Anyway, it is finally liberating to not have to remember to grab a mask whenever I leave my office.

You do what you've got to do according to your situation.
What I find interesting is how people make such a big deal about getting "fully vaccinated", when the shots they got would not meet the definition of "vaccine" before the definition was recently changed.
Prior to the play on words, a vaccine provides immunity to a disease. What you are getting in these shots does not provide immunity.
That is why the flu shots are called shots, and not vaccines. They do not give you immunity, but rather initiate a kick start for your immune system.

If you have been with the same company for 34 years, congratulations to you. That’s one heck of a run.
Bet it’s a pretty nice feeling knowing retirement is in the near future.
