Sorry fellas. CDC just came out with new finding. It appears that certain flatulence causing foods can spread covid. Booty mask will be required as well as stool samples.

I'm glad my industry never mandated any of that crap.

If companies mandate a vaccine for employment they will be liable for any health issues, loss of work and workman's comp if there are any complications that result from the vaccine.

I'm reading this thread as Russ79 exercised his freedom of choice to get vaccinated.
Same freedom others of us are choosing not to get vaccinated.

And haters still got to hate.

Russ glad you dont have to wear the stupid mask anymore. I gotta wear one when on airplanes and it keeps me from breathing well enough to sleep.

If companies mandate the jab, they are going to have help issues...they are having to now bribe people to get the jab. Half or more of the country does not want anything to do with it.

Anyone who has had Covid should never have to mask up again. Follow the science.....
Science has always shown masks to be useless against a respiratory virus anyway, so no one should be wearing them whether they've had COVID or not. Follow the science AND common sense instead of that ridiculous superstitious cult ritual.

It ain't so much hating as it what this compliance is bringing.
People getting vaccinated every time it's required are just giving more power to this thing, and enabling the gov.
In turn, it's going to bring vaccine card mandates down on us hard (pretty much already is ^^).
Those that refuse will find it harder and harder to integrate into society.
You will lose more and more freedoms as this developes unless you do exactly what the government says.
Now you're choices are costing me my freedom.
                    Wild times ahead.

I am trying to hold off receiving Social Security until my full retirement age of 66 and four months and don't want to get into the 401k until then. If you had the kind of wife I have you would want to maximize all your financial options...

To be clear....our company didn't mandate that we had to get vaccinated. They did require us to follow CDC guidelines to minimize spreading of the virus. We require a certain number of folks to run our mill and if we lose too many to Covid then we would have to shut down. So mask wearing and social distancing were initiated. All I was sharing today was the fact that we have joined the state of Texas and not requiring us to wear a mask, but only if we have been vaccinated. Also, I didn't get vaccinated because they were offering us $250 if we got vaccinated- I had already been vaccinated and didn't see any reason to pass up the money. And as far as the annual profit sharing , we have had that for the last 19 years but this year is going to be especially good- I work at an OSB mill and we all know what that has gone up to in price.

Good grief, this is sad to read. It's like celebrating when the occupying force lets you have an extra sip of soup.

I know. Sometimes we don't realize the freedoms we lost until we get them back.

To me this is a public health issue. We’ve all been given the best option available to protect ourselves from a disease from which we have no natural immunity and looks like it kills roughly 1% of the people it infects. Does anybody like to be sick? To run a fever, body aches and fatigue for weeks? Not to mention missing work and time with family and friends while you’re sick. Feel free to tell yourself your freedom is being stepped on when you see employers and venues asking you to be vaccinated but it seems you are ensuring yourself less freedom by not doing so. Totally your choice but that’s how I see it.
