I’m surprised to see how many prefer mule deer. I’ve never had it. I only know a couple people who’ve eaten it and they said it wasn’t as good as whitetails. I may have to give them a try.

The one I had you could taste the sage. I hate sage it was very tender though. i gave it all away.

Whatever game I have access to hunt, I can always make it taste good! LOL, I like Axis, Greater Kudu & Elk, but I've heard that Nilgai is some of the best, just haven't tried it yet.
