From the Caprock to east Texas should be fantastic!

Hoping this is a good yield and survival rate for deer, Turkey poults and quail alike. But I do wonder how many may have been washed away in the flash and areal floods in the Big Country today.

We left Carrolton today at noon and just made it home to Lubbock. I20 looked more like 820 at 4:45 due to wrecks and water on I20. We made 2 stops but still a ridiculous drive

We finally got some rain in southern Webb county, should be just in time for does dropping fawns. Hopefully the bucks weren’t too stressed after the freeze.

Got on a lease in Hall Co. Guy I leased it from said they had been in a 2.5 year drought. I think it may be over there. They have had some big storms up that way the last 3 weeks. I am hoping it didn’t tear anything up. Should help the wildlife big time.
