TOPO Map Question

Going this weekend up to the lease to do some scouting. Last year was first year to hunt SE Oklahoma from West Texas and was not successful. I want to set out trail cameras for scouting this weekend. Check the topo that I’m attaching and tell me what you think. What you see on there is current feeder locations and this is bow only hunting. As you can see it’s mostly wooded and timber gets cut roughly every 7 years. Thanks for any help or suggestions

A hybrid sat/topo would probably help a lot more showing what’s wooded and what’s not.

The whole dang area is wooded. Looks like a pine tree farm on the north, south and west side of wolf ridge.

Shouldve scratched out wolf ridge if trying to be super on the down low.
Looks like a good hardwood swathe on the north west face.

Deer like escape routs and tend to live 2/3rds up hills. Flee up or down. I would look for pinch points at 1500 ft.............

did you see any deer last year? Are they hitting the feeders?

Feeder action was 70% night time and we got 3 deer last year. Still trying to figure the place out
