While the lake dries out, we switched gears to deer and had a nice buck moved in.

Any guesses on score? There is no right or wrong answer, we didn’t score him. Ha.

New Helix Ranch lake project

Been a minute since I posted here. It’s it BUSY at the Helix. The west lake is nearing completion. It was totally drained, willow trees ripped out and dug deeper. A LOT of dirt.

The fish have been looking great. As have the deer (lots of buck fawns).

Barndo is complete.

Next up will be stocking the re-vamped west lake and beginning the design and plan for the house.

West lake is compete and filling up! The big projects are winding down. Finally. Ha.

We will bring in minnows, bluegill, shiners and probably shad in February. The bring new bass in April or so. Probably reconnect the two lakes in the summer.
