my old username/password doesn't work any more since the new forum configuration. i have altered my username some, but now i am a spike again. any help with this, thanks.

You will be a spike until you post enough to make forky. Everyone started back at the bottom with the forum change. A necessary evil, if you will.
As far as the username, we had to start over there too. You simply have to recreate it. What would you like it to be and I can go work on changing it? -
