I am almost 60. A couple of weeks ago I was at Lowes and an "elderly" gentleman asked me if I needed help getting the new hot water heater loaded into my truck. I thanked him for his offer to help me. He said you can't lift that by yourself. I explained i did not plan on lifting it. I tilted it onto the open tailgate and slid it in as he watched. When I was done I again thanked him for his offer to help me. He smiled and asked me for the cart I was using.

Random acts of kindness folks. I struck up a conversation in HEB with a black woman that had greens in her basket. She was surprised to find out that I was raised on collard greens, corn bread, black eyed peas etc etc. Take time to find common ground and build bridges folks. Then people see that we have things in common.
I was in Lowe’s Tuesday returning some items. There was a black man in front of me with a load full of doors on a cart. He turned around and looked at me and said “You look like my cousin Ray Ray”! We both busted out laughing.
I ended up finding out that he had a non verbal autistic son, and he learned that I have a special needs son as well. Additionally, I had the opportunity to minister to him regarding his son. Made my day. Take time to do good folks. Look for people to help. Be salt and light in this dark and decaying world were living in. Proud of almost all of you on this site! Lol!
