ATTN TBH LOGO Gurus...Need Some Help!

I'm looking for some help on designing part of our logo for a new business and from what I have seen here, there are some very talented people here. More talented than me for sure so if you can throw out some of your thoughts, I sure would appreciate it.

The name is Blazing The Trail. The main part of the logo is simple but difficult. I'm trying to get it to look like the end of a Branding Iron Brand.

It might look better in a 3-D design with part of the handle of the branding iron showing. Trying to make it look a little rustic and like a metal branding iron rather than just letters on a circle

    Any ideas??

    Thanks,

    J.P.

Here is my basic design thought:

        cshall999,

It's a start, but what I'm having trouble with is getting it to really look like an actual branding iron. I've messed with some different fonts in different programs and have not been able to make it look good. I definitely want the circle frame around it though.

Keep 'em coming and many thanks!

This may not be up to par with what you want, but I'm at work and don't have all of my tools.

Excellent! Now we're heading in the right direction! Can't wait to see what can be done when you do have your tools!

I have not forgotten about this. I have just gotten busy with a few work related things. I also just got a new set of toys and the friend of mine that gave them to me said he would lend a hand with this. Sorry for the delay.

OK, It is a little late. But, where should I go from here...oh, I started over. Learned a few things. I tried to make it look a little more 'rustic' .... not sure if I got that. I can place the light in another spot to get less of a shadow, I can also change the background for blue to white....so...let me konw.
