Got a letter yesterday from some law firm. They say I owe $300 for services at Methodist Hospital Dallas. Date of service was Jan. of 2019. I have never been treated for anything at that hospital in my entire life. Only been in it maybe twice visiting friends. I'm going to call the hospital to see what they say, just wanted to see if y'all think this is probably a scam.

I am guessing they are trying to collect on an old debt, obviously not yours since u have never been there, not sure how they come up w names sometimes. You may have the same name as someone that does owe money there. I started getting letters once from one saying my old company did not pay their bill so i need to pay it. after about 3 of those letters i wrote back saying i was not responsible for company debts, never heard from them again. Call the hospital and verify you are not in their records, then write the law firm and tell them u have no debt there. Or just ignore it, I'm just not the type of person that likes to ignore things.

Just my opinion, but some good advice here.
