If you are talking about this one...I used to shoot one / hunt with one for about three years. It is a good rest, IMO, IF you are not going to be moving around much. You can adjust the sensitivity; however, it doesn't take too much to "activate" it and make it fall. I have now switched to a Shakey Hunter and can't see going back...

Not sure on the cordless...make sme think too much could go wrong. I would stick to the cord type. Shaky Hunter is a good one.

I shot the Trap Door rest for several years in 3-D and hunting and I really liked it. I switched to a Shakey Hunter just because the Trap Door made some internal noise when it dropped that I didnt care for while hunting.

I really have no idea why people have noise with the Trap Door or Free Fall as it is called now. I have been shooting one for several years and have 0 problems, no noise and it has never dropped from movement. It has worked and worked well 100% of the time. And talk about something going wrong, what about getting cords or arms caught in brush or something and ruining a normal drop away for good. With the Free Fall, nothing to catch in brush on anything. I would give it five stars and yes I have shot the others, just don't like the cord hanging around!

I am with Mudslinger I have used the zero effect for several years and I can't say anything bad about it. I too don't like cords I have the zero effect and the tru peep so I have no cords on my bow. The only thing is that when I stalk my hand gets a little tired holding the arrow but I hardly ever stalk so it works for me. Great rest and I can't say that they have anymore noise, that cord makes more noise than the drop of the rest but nothing a little mole skin can't fix

I don't know why I had noise in mine either but I do know I couldn't do anything about it. You will notice that I also said I really liked the rest, everything besides the noise mine made.

I use one by NAP on my Switchback and my wife has the same one on her Mustang. I previously had mine on a Legacy. Have had ZERO problems.
