Does Deleting my Cummins Affect Resale?

everyone told me that it would be hard to sell my 17 cummins after my dpf system took a crap and i deleted it.
Traded it in on my current 2019 f250 last year. dealer straight up asked me if i deleted it. I was honest and said yes, and provided them the removed parts. they said it was not an issue, and proceeded to give me top dollar for trade in.-- quite serious on this. i got 34k trade in on a truck i paid 37 k for 2 years previous.
they may crack down someday... they may not. who knows. but trust me, you'll be able to sell it.

Are shops even doing the deletes anymore? My 2016 ticked over 100k miles now, planning to drive it into the ground. I've no issues other than it just annoys the hell out of me having to put DEF in it and the Service message in the dash that's EGR related but it's not throwing check engine lights or anything.

About 1600.00 and you can get the ezlynk tuner, switch on the fly switch, replacement pipe sent to the house. takes about an hour to unplug all the plugs and unbolt the DEF system and drop it and install the replacement pipe. Plug the tune in and go!

Not true. Texas is safety only on diesels and I’ve never had an issue getting inspected no matter where i went
