Lots of good protein shakes on the market. I used chocolate Muscle Milk (and still occasionally do)... some whole milk, a couple dashes of cinnamon, and it's packed with calories. These days, I use fat free milk or water, and add some instant coffee since i'm an old man who needs caffeine and fewer calories - but its pretty tasty.
Also - just a word of advice - I had reconstructive throat surgery from a rugby injury back in the day... do not... and I repeat.. DO NOT... put chicken noodle soup in a blender, liquify it, and then try to ingest. I'm still not sure how something so tasty can turn so not-so-tasty by taking the same ingredients and making them into a smoothy... holy cheet man!
