The lease I hunt at is typically only night hunts, its very rare that they come out during the day or any daylight for that matter. I got in the blind at 6:45PM and this sounder of about 14 pigs came in at 7:45 with just plenty of light. I drew back on this boar but had to hold for a while as he was bullying the other smaller pigs on the corn and just wouldnt stay still. He never gave me a clear, still broadside shot so I took this quartering away shot. This 485gr arrow topped with a slick trick magnum did the trick. As soon as he was hit, he dropped in in his tracks immediately as if he was shot by a gun. A few kicks and moments later he expired. The other group of pigs came back seconds later, I was hoping to get another one but they were definitely knew something wasn't right when big boss was kicking and moaning. They stood just outside my shooting lane then bolted. The stoke level was very high that night!
