Anyone with property in the Real County, Edwards, Kerr area have huisache that seems to not have bloomed yet this year? Was curious to know if anyone else is experiencing the same from the freeze or if yours has taken off crazy like it does every spring??

There are several approaches to (try) to kill it. The most effective for me has been to cut the plant/tree close the ground and spray it with remedy/diesel. You can also try spraying the leaves with Sendero and a surfactant. That method takes a lot more herbicide and longer to kill.
It is a pain to cut and dispose of the plants but cutting and spraying the stump has given me the best outcome.

As of this weekend, the small plants are greening out the medium size trees some are greening out. Have not seen any large huisache trees greening out. I talked to the Kinney county ag department and they don’t know if the large trees will survive or not
Grazon p&d works good on the leave spraying for huisache
I plan on using sendero for the mesquites this summer

I have been through Marion quite a few times lately and a road I don't normally use outside of Seguin. All around Marion, there is a lot of huisache, all of it looks dead at this point, same outside Seguin. Huisache, normally blooms pretty early, looks like the Marion area, may have a lot of dead huisache over many thousands of acres. That's been my bet for the last couple of weeks.

I wish that you were right but as hard as it is to kill due to its really long roots, I doubt it is dead.
It would be the greatest thing that ever happened to my property if it were though!
