Every time I get in my wife’s vehicle this is what I see. Her philosophy is “well the light is not on so I have plenty of time”.

My wife is the exact same way. Every time we go somewhere in her car, the gas station is the first stop.

Seems like a common problem. I have told my wife many times, don't let the fuel level get that low, it causes problems for the fuel pump, less fuel the pump runs hotter, more likely to pick up trash, ECT.

Any time we take her car, we had to put fuel in it, or any time she wants me to take it to work and do an oil change or work on the car, it's empty, guaranteed, 100% of the time, anytime I am going to drive her car.

So she gets her free oil change or car worked on for free and a free tank of fuel. How many places do that for their customers? None, but that's how it works in my world.
