I have it on a 2012 with 170k on the clock. Got it done at 40k. Have an H&S. Put muffler on so it quieted down except for WOT.

The positives. Power wise, I can go up to 650 hp.I usually run around 525 hp. I don't track fuel mileage, but usually get 350 miles per tank. So whatever that works out to. I pull our 10k TT, and the truck pulls it like nothing it back there. But in all fairness, even without a tune, it would probably feel the same. My boss just bought a brand new F250. I told him the power mine was making, and he said "that's more than mine". Made me smile. I enjoy the clatter and smell of a cold diesel engine, so positive for me.

The cons: Emissions crackdowns are coming. I don't know if they will go all the way to '12, but they are coming. Can't drive with a heavy foot in town. This leads to black smoke, which leads to police following the black smoke til they find you. The drone is there. H&S is out of business. So no more tunes for me. Harder on transmission/driveline components. Although I suspect you don't care with that front end lift kit.

The bottom line? As much as I love mine, I doubt I would do it again. Trucks aren't meant to be fast. And these trucks have so much torque stock, there really is no need to delete them anymore.

I have 2015 with a tune, SCT programmer, 5” all the way out, I have 35’s. I drive a lot on the highway and around Houston for work. It sounds amazing. Has great power. Get terrible mileage - 12mpg. I have a heavy foot but the best I ever got before the delete was 17 coming home from OKC with a hard north tailwind.

I looked at the EZ link but I couldn’t justify the money for it to just be cool sitting on my dash. That’s a lot of money.

Sold my old pipe for $750. Total package cost me ~$1200.

Pm me if you want to know where I got it done

You'll be mad at yourself for not doing it sooner. The difference is amazing.

Awful big truck for a daily driver that isn't used to tow.

Haven't been worried about MPG prior, don't start now.

A deleted truck is hard to trade in

I deleted my 6.7 Cummins at 45k. I have 210k now. Fuel economy went from 12-13 up to 15-16. Its a daily driver. I can get 20+mpg out of it on the hwy running 65-70 over a long trip.

You can trade them in, they just tell you that they wont give you as much for trade.

As mentioned before it doesnt seem to bump the MPG in the 6.7's like other trucks. The way I look at it is that you are getting rid of a bunch of things that make the engine more complicated and more harmful to the engine so deleting is a good thing. With that said if you run it hard it would be more harmful than the emissions equipment.

I would hold on to all the stuff you are taking off in the event that they crack down on it.

Appreciate all the input... this is what I’m leaning towards.

I have a buddy that had his tuned and has had nothing but troubles. Can’t get the check engine light to go off.

He’s called around but no one seems to help without costing a lot more money. it’s costing him too much time and money. He’s frustrated and regrets it. 6.7 power stroke

Sorry to persuade anyone differently but there always a good and bad story.

Any help with recommendations would be appreciated.

Why not do a private sale? IMO, get more selling privately than trading in.

Well I did it and it is an insane difference! Wow

Better gas mileage and the power unlocked with throw you back in the seat. Glad I did it.

I know this is a old thread but this DEF trash is ridiculous!!!!! It’s going to cost me the same amount to fix some stupid censor as it would to dump it…. My diesel mechanic says he does it all the time but everything online says don’t do it…. Just open to suggestions from people lately.
                                Thank you.
