Alligator Gar Questions

The 15 ft is perfect. Cut it right in the middle and makes two gar hoops.

So would it be easier to get two 7 footers?

Man I still hope to get a huge gar one day. I had a great opportunity with Garguy on a trip once, but I blew the shot.

Or one 7 would be cheaper too. I like the cable to have one end without snaps. That way I can unsnap it once in the boat and pull the slick end right out from under him. The snap end will hang up in his gills. This is a bigger deal when releasing rod and reel fish.
