If it a car you are going to keep, do it correctly it will need to be wet sanded to get the oxidation off. It will also need a protection put back on or it will just do it again. For a quick fix use this. https://www.amazon.com/CERAKOTE-Cera...app1%26hl%3Den
Agreed, maybe if you’re selling it , but keeping needs some attention or replace.
I did the auto zone kit and 2 years it’s looking like it needs some help, ( my truck is not garage kept and is in weather 24/7 since 2015)
Replacing the headlight was going to be more than this person
wanted to spend so I tried my hand at the 3m kit from Amazon and it turned out better than I thought it would.
I did the 3m kit and it worked for the year longer that I kept the truck. Make sure you put the blue painters tape around the light so you don’t mess up the paint if you go this route.
^^^THIS ----Save your money on the restoration kit and just replace the lights. It's worth it in the long run. Your just going to be buying more kits and spending more time. And time is $$. Just buy new headlights.

You didn't do it right.....I used the kit on my old truck, and it will make them look close to new, but it doesn't last long. That's why I say just replace them.
Carparts.com has 09 Corolla headlight replacements for 39.99 I replaced my daughters Nissan Altima with their replacements recently. I tried the toothpaste and microfiber and it helps but it does not last. Buy some new headlights
