One of the best Indian books I have read - cool part is that alot of it happened around Fredricksburg and Junction areas - can order on Amazon

he was kidnapped as a kid and lived with them for 9 years - then escaped and went back to civilization - amazing true story - it is paperback - $4.80

One more great read - "Killers of the Flower Moon" , about the Osage Murders. There is also a movie in the works.
I'll have to check those others out, love the local history.

I went through a kindle reading binge a few years ago and read just about everything in this genre. He had to be a very interesting guy. Did what he could to make money as a kind of road attraction in his later years as I recall.
