Congrats sounds like you had a lot of fun. The real question is, did you bring home the meat?

I did. I cooked a piece of back strap and it wasn't horrible. It actually had a good non-game flavor. I'm getting the rest processed- 50% chorizo, 25% green hatch chili sausage, 25% ground maple bacon burger. Yes I'm flavoring it up, but it's still good meat that I'm going to share with lot's of people.
