Small Appliance Repair in Fort Worth?

My over-the-stove microwave is tripping the breaker once I push start. I looked online and found a few things it could be, but just about every fix relies on you knowing how to check continuity and having other electrical knowledge, which is not my forte.

Does anyone know of a good in-home appliance repair company in Fort Worth? Would also use someone who does this work as a side-gig.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like breaker is wore out...not the microwave. Whereas it could be an indicator that the microwave is about to go out and drawing more amps than alloted for the circuit. Run a short extension cord from the m/w cord prongs to another non-gfci receptacle and non-afci circuit. (If you do run the m/w to a gfci receptacle...and it runs fine and gfci doesnt pop...very strong indicator of bad m/w breaker.) If the non/microwave breaker pops...trash the microwave...theyre not worth the repair cost. If the microwave runs fine...replace the breaker for the microwave circuit which is possibly dedicated solely for the microwave in the electrical panel.

That being said...any chance I get to remove an over the range microwave at a rental property...I do it. I replace them with venthoods. The life expectancy of newer plastic microwaves is 5 years amd theyre a maintenance headache. I dont trust any of them to be around in the kitchen spewing microwaves into my family. Male restaurant workers are more likely to get testicular cancer due to the microwaves at gonad height in many commercial kitchens. I moved my personal built in microwave from above my built in oven in the center of my kitchen into my pantry. FWIW.

      Good luck MrRiceguy

Most of them won’t touch a microwave. Good way to get kilt from what I understand

Had same problem the other day !
Check all your neutral and ground lugs in your panel.
Somehow they can get loose after the freeze we had.
                Fixed mine right up.

Thanks guys, appreciate all the help. I'm hoping it will be fine, but will be having a coworker that does side work check it out.

What's funny is the issue started after the water boil notice and all the steam going into it, so maybe that has something to do with it.
