Folks who own or hunt on the border

Y'all know I'm kind of into random but very specific things.

I need a piece of wood from THE border. Not a ranch next to the border, but as close to the actual line as possible.

Even better, find me a mesquite stump bulldozed during border wall construction.

Good enough would be a stick of firewood from the border, bonus points for interesting figure.

I've got thousands of these pieces, but we burn them for firewood .

You the wall doesn’t mark the actual border, and is sometimes a good ways from the river right? We have good friends that actually live on the other side of the wall and where we dove hunt every year is the same.

What side of the tick fence as it’s closer than the wall

Knife handle. Have some border wall material from El Paso to incorporate into the Damascus blade.

I’m thinking some kind of chaotic pattern on top, a line representing the wall, and some kind of orderly pattern along the edge.

Maybe I’ll call it the “Overtly Republican Bowie” lol. Or maybe the chaos is on our side of the wall lol.

One of my buddies on the lease farms right on the river & has the wall in spitting distance from his home now....I'll send him the link & see if he has any suggestions that might work for you.

                Jason,

Where do you stand on this?? Most of the mesquite / ebony cleared to build the wall have been dozed & burned...richard still has some other trees he can look over, but don't want to waste his time if you got what you needed. Thanks!!

Didn't find anything. Sometimes there are good stumps left after the burn piles. Texas ebony would be epic, mesquite good as well. IMO not worth cutting down a live tree.
