The EO, signed by Biden, calls for closing 30% of U.S. ocean waters to fishing, including recreational fishing, by 2030 through the MPAs.

Seems like its a ways out and curious if it would even hold with judicial review

I am going to guess, his Chinese buddies, want to fish our waters. In the areas they want to fish, they are going to make off limits to us. If it's illegal to fish those areas , by any means. Then US citizens should not have any reason to be in those waters. If no US citizens are in those waters, we would not know the Chinese are fishing those waters.

I would think the big effect for Texas guys would be Flower Gardens. Im not sure how far it will go around the Gardens but it is BS. Why any Sportsman would support this administration blows my mind.
