Yup....disappointed. Been hunting that place for 10 years and probably killed 20/25 turkeys there. It happens. Regroup and try again someday!

Anyone have any info on blacks hills, SD? Or southwest Colorado for merriams turkey. My plans for new mexico might be getting messed up by work and I am looking for a mid may merriam turkey hunt option. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I guess some areas to concentrate on. It's a huge chunk of land and not sure what area would be a good starting point.

Other than that its turkey hunting and I got that part under control.

Forecasts calls for some beautiful weather for Easter weekend.

I hope to get out and hunt (guide) a few times this weekend but most of the weekend will be spent with family. We'll be heading south later this afternoon after the kiddos get out of school.
