Snow Melt...Another Drainage Project Success !!

We have a drainage that drops down to the river that has been eroding and cutting across one of our pastures. We hired our neighbor's boys last September to install a catch basin with a 36" drop pipe and 36" drain that goes thru the dam. We also filled the badly eroded drainage, took out some trees, and regraded about an acre of the pasture. I also planted a winter rye food plot in the reclaimed pasture. We did the work in late September, but it got a real test the last few day with the snow melt.

I remember the original thread when you installed it. Nice to see it in action and work as planned. Good stuff!

I think he was looking the other way. He is still doing well. All three of the decoy cats got spoiled during January/ February. They didnt want to leave the warm shop. They have just started venturing out again. It was 60 degrees yesterday.
