Why is the secret service investigating child ****ography?

The federal alphabet agencies have different responsibilities. They are all federal agents and can enforce any federal law but the many different agencies specialize/responsible for certain investigations. I think the FBI, Secret Service and maybe another agency or two investigate child ****ography.
