Can you guys share your thoughts with using the on X hunt app and chip? What was your experience with it what other app or download would you recommend for a garmin gps unit ? I have a new garmin gpsmap 64sx handheld and not positive on which download I’m going to use .

Not the best person to give advise on this. But I use on X app on my phone in airplane mode and have a Garmin inreach for emergencies. The screen on phone is way bigger and you can blue tooth the Garmin to phone.

I use OnX on my phone and carry my Garmin as a back up. It's a lot easier to zoom in and out, move around, etc on the phone.

Yeah I typically use the phone but I’m going into the public land hunts now so I was wanting something for back up . I don’t plan on staying in the high traffic areas , still I will be getting deep into uncharted territory and wanted the garmin. Plus it was on sale
