Good reminder with all the sanded roadways last week. It is a bike day for sure here in Houston. Got me shopping craigslist, but a bike is third on the current list lol.

Today was in the 50's up here and i saw a bunch of bikes out. After several weeks in the single digits i couldn't blame them. Our roads are horrible up here and no way i would ride this early. Pot holes as deep as a foot depth, salt and cinders don't mix well with bikes. Im anxious but i'll wait.

My bike plates expire this month so I need an inspection first. Thought about doing that this morning but think ill wait till next week after the rains wash the sand away. I've had a close call in a corner like that. It'll pucker you up for sure.

It was 82 yesterday here and it sure is tempting to get the bike out, but besides the sand being slick, I don't like getting my face sandblasted either.
