I saw the video, and very glad that didn’t do any more worse damage to the aircraft.

I work for United Airlines as a ramp agent. And this is something I always hope to never happen to any of the planes I happened to work on.

Where do you work, I'm at IAH for United also.

My niece is military family and being transferred to North Carolina. She came here and signed on a new house and was flying back to Hawaii. We are thankful for the job the pilits did

That's some scary stuff and am thankful the pilots were able to get everyone back on the ground safely. Makes you think twice about flying but how else you going to get to Hawaii that fast?

The crazy thing is those engine manufacturers will put an engine on a stand, get it running, and have explosives lining the inside of the cowling to test/make sure this type of event doesn’t happen.
