My old trusty gander mountain brand $20light has put down more than anything else over the years. My theory is it's a dimmer yellowish light and doesnt spook them as much.
Mainly now use off brand LED lights. Have spent from $20-50 ish on them. Run off some of those 1650 batteries and tons brighter than my old spotlight.

        Wow !
Seems everyone has a different idea.
I’ve got fat max one here, leaves me wanting more. Maybe I’m just getting old and can’t see as good. Lol
Keep em coming, fixing to buy.

I've had two Fat Max's in last three years. Both of them had the trigger fail and when I sent the first one back, I got an email that basically said they do not warranty them. Something about being a third party. I asked them to send it back and never received it. When they were working, I loved them but never again.

An old headlight with a handle and switch has made many rounds here in NE Texas. Q Beam varmint special with the hood for roads where you can see farther.

I have killed a pile of animals with one of these dudes and did piles of deer surveys with it. Hard to beat imo....

Johnny Stewart has a predator hunting spotlight that would probably be ok. I haven't had any experience with it.

                          Bought a 5000 lumen protec
Gonna see how it does when it gets dark tonight.
                          $100 in
If no good, I’m going to $200 range lol
I know you get what you pay for, just trying to avoid $200-$400

I’ve got this light and it’s pretty awesome. Holds a charge for a long time and is light and very bright.
