Only thing that will ever hurt hog population is another depression where we have to have the food. Just hunting, trapping, etc will never get them under control. Like others said , they are like fire ants that even when you control yours the neighbors don’t so they rebound.

We went from seeing a lot of hogs to just seeing a lot of cold hogs.

I recently read a report that they have migrated into Canada. I think they will be fine here.

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Lol....that’s funny. I WISH the cold would kill them. But they are still business as usual!

I used to think that until I saw our country going the way of venezuela. They may be a food source that we will someday be thankful for.

They are probably making more piglets as we speak, trying to stay warm.

My cattle, horses, chickens and dogs handle this weather just fine so I imagine most wild animals will tolerate it. I look around and see rabbits, deer, birds and coyotes running around all over the place and they appear to be ok. Nature made animals tough and capable of dealing with this weather. If an animal has plenty of food and water, they can handle a lot.
Ever gut and skin a pig in the winter and seen all that fat? That’s like a fur coat to us.

They are hitting our dedicated pig feeder twice a day as soon as it throws

Those hogs will be gorging on other dead stuff, they are in heaven
