In the same boat as you. Was rolling along fine until the power went out at some point in the night for several hours. Had everything wrapped up tight and heat lamp running in the pump house next to the pressure tank. Had a trickle of water from the faucets in the house first thing this morning, but that was short lived.

Unwrapped everything inside the pump house and wrapped them with electric blankets. So far with that and the lamps it seems to be staying thawed...now if it doesn't burn down I will be good!

Dad has everything frozen in the pump house outside goliad. He tried but there wasn’t much he could do

I have one of my buddy heaters hooked to a bbq propane bottle in my well house. So far it’s good. Holding at about 43 degrees. Power has been out since 5am. Have the other buddy heater in the kitchen. Wish I had brought a couple more back from deer lease.

If our power goes out I have the crawfish cooker ready to fire up on low that should be plenty? I have a small kerosene heater ready for the house and wood ready for fire place

Lost power and mine froze up too. Going to be a run on pvc and fittings like toilet paper was.

The pipe under my pressure tank broke in half. Looks like the way the base is built wouldn't let enough warmth in there. I used some heat tape, heat lamp, work lamp, space heater, Mr. Buddy and insulation/ moving blankets on the system but still couldn't keep that one pipe from freezing...

I have a thermocube and small heater in my well house to keep the temp above freezing. Works well and point to heater right at the pipes to keep them thawed. Seems once I hit 24* my pipes start to freeze without a little heat.

If you have a large tank in your pump house, which you should, and good insulation, which you should, then you won't have a problem. The mass of the water in the tank will keep it from freezing. A heat lamp will help as well.

With the entire state, heck several states, being frozen solid, there wont be any fittings to be found for a whole buncha folks... This is going to get ugly in a hurry when the thawing starts.... REAL UGLY..
My propane supplier had an all out brawl, fist fight, start at his store over someone cutting in line while trying to fill propane bottles and this was days before the freeze..

Well, mine froze at some point last night. Had two faucets dripping/streaming and even got up and ran a bathroom faucet around 12:30-1:00. Got up at 5:00 and she gone! As mentioned above, gonna be a mess this weekend.

In my experience the first thing to freeze up is the small tube that goes from the points to the motor. If that freezes, the points don’t recognize any pressure and turn off. Get that tube thawed out and all should be good provided you have a heat lamp on most everything else.
