We have one that’s about 9 months old and she is 100% true to her breed (thinks she’s the boss/tries to herd us when we walk). She’s an awesome dog/cutest personality I’ve ever seen in a dog...

He does that to me when we go out to walk/ potty and I’ve only had him 2 days. Definitely has a personality!
Great looking pup. Our standard Aussie (Zip) passed away at 14 this past November. He was my wingman since he was a pup. I really struggled after we lost him so my wife surprised me with a mini in December. He’s 4.5 months old and is a terror but amazingly smart. They make awesome companions. Congrats on your new fur baby!!
Our last dog was a mini aussie and is the main reason I am terrified of getting another dog as she was the worst! Barked nonstop at everything wouldn't sit still to save her life and would chase and bark at anything that moved! This all is probably a better representation of her not so patient owner than it is of the breed but man she was a handful.

So far he’s calm and being at home 2 days, we’ve minimized the barking while in the crate! But I’m also in chiropractic school and since the flu I mean covid I have school at home every day.
