    Anyone Hunting This Cold Snap?

Title says it all! Anyone out chasing Boaris's less savory relatives?

What do the pigs do when it's this dang cold? Huddle up? Or move all day?

I plan to hunt this weekend. They should be hammering the feeders if the spinner plates aren't froze up. Lol

Had pigs at the feeders about 8 this morning. 23 degrees and 1/4" of ice.

Not real sure about what wild pigs do when its this cold but when I lived in west Texas and had show pigs they would hunker down until the sun came back out.

I'm lucky I will be hunting them out of my living room window. I'll let you know, but deer having really been moving last couple days.

Went and set on a field yesterday evening. Deer were out and about but no pigs.

They always bedded down on us in these temps.

As much as i would like to, pork tenderloin and boston butt’s at HEB are to cheap to sit in a blind with out a 100% chance of getting a pig. Then if you do it isn’t going to dress itself out. Sorry but getting older and have no desire to get cold.

Had a couple nocturnal big boars that reeked havoc on feeders a few years ago came out to eat in the last light of the last icy snowy day we had in south east Texas I’m glad I made the drive and sat in the cold cause I put an end to there terror that evening. The roads were icy driving through Kountze that night it was slippery especially over bridges slow and easy got me home.Animals are going to eat but drive careful and slow if it’s icy.Y’all be careful out there I’ll prob try and pop a porker myself this weekend.

Doesn't it remind you of the old joke about the old bull and young bull?
