I have this sight that is or was on a defense shotgun that I bought from a fellow TBH'er a few years back. I have no idea what brand it is or how it works. Is this a red dot that operates off a battery or what. An help on this matter would be appreciated.
remove the cap on top using a big flat head, or by hand if you can. there will be a watch type battery under there. ebay seems to be the cheapest place to stock up on watch type batteries.
Yes it is a red dot. The battery looks to be housed in the elevation turret from the pics. Probably takes a cr22 something battery. There should either be an on/off switch or turret style on/off turret or button.
Reflex sight with battery as explained already. May not be an on/off as such, but the turret that adjusts the brightness is where you’ll turn it on or off. I have a Sightmark on a .22 that looks just like that one, but I think they are sold under more than one name.
Everyone is correct. The battery is under the elevation turret and is a CR2032 size. You can see the switch for the off/on in the second pic by my thumb, I think!
