Recently had predator wire put down around a ranch I manage. Released a few axis and a couple days ago had a couple yotes chasing some. Took my son on a stroll mid afternoon, sat next to a tree in a creek bottom, squeaked for a minute or so and caught movement across the creek. This guy stopped to look at a Hawk that had come in a few seconds before and I was able to move to get on him. Took the shot a he went 40-50 yds before piling up. Very large male and you can tell he had eaten well!

Decided to skin him and get him tanned. Ranch owner was happy and hopefully see more fawns this year!
