Taxidermist question

I had this pig mounted about 5 years ago and it went straight in the attic. Ha, my wife wasn’t having it.
I now have an office at work and pulled it down and was going to go hang it today. What has happened to its nose?

Spray lightly with water to soften dirt remove carefully clean out dirt and spiders.

Could hit it with a small drill bit and clear out the holes

To me it looks like a very poor paint job on the interior of the nose, a new paint schedule with an airbrush would fix it easy.

That is some kind of a bug food storage cacoon.. I find them in anything with a small hole around my place.. Usually have dead spiders packed in behind it..

They can clean it up and make it like new

Looks like epoxy clay to me and he didn't paint the inside of the nostrils.
Paint the clay dark color to match the nose, or pink.

This is what it looks like to me....and/or maybe he did paint and the paint didn't stick well in the heat and fell off in the nostril area.

I got it out, it was dirt dobber's. They had it sealed up good. Got it hung in my office scaring everybody away. LOL
