I just got outbid on ebay because I was on the road driving home. I posted an add in the classieds but I wanted to post over here just in case anybody thinks they might know of one somewhere, or know of any other online resources.

I would appreciate any info you guys could give to help my search.
I would really appreciate in somebody had one for sale!!!

Up for sale I've got right-handed Icon with 29" draw, 70lb limbs with limbsavers, a Bodoodle Pro-Lite rest, Sightmaster 2000 adjustable single pin sight and a four arrow quickie quiver. Nothing wrong with the bow I'm just looking to upgrade". You may want to send him a PM to see if he still has it.

Check the Archery Talk ads. Just asking, Why an Icon?

I like the way it shoots. I haven't felt a bow this good since my mq1.
I seem to be going backwards in bow technology. I'm still trying to find the bow I feel most comfortable shooting. I've shot a guys indoor set-up a few times and it's a 62lb icon. SMOOTH! QUITE! ACCURATE!

I've bought: (in order from oldest to most recent)
mathews mq1 -1998
mathews mq2 -2002
mathews switchback -2005
mathews switchback xt -2006
pearson rave -2006

I think if I can get an icon set-up the way I want one I'll be done for a while. None of them have shot better or killed more stuff than my original mq1.

I will say that so far, I'm wishing I had kept that Icon. I gained some speed by upgrading to a newer bow but that Icon is a smooth drawing setup and I had it shooting as quiet as a whisper. Why do I always do this?
