I just ordered the S21 Ultra. I don't want to have to keep up with a stylus and I doubt I'd use it much, so I've never been interested in the Note phones.

Same here, I just got the S21 from the S10 and it is awesome. The 5G is kick arse!

i upgraded to the S20 ultra last summer. man it is nice - i wanted the upgraded camera and like it. my only complaint is the size is too big for my preference. wish they had the upgraded camera in the smaller size. my battery last 2 full days even after being 8 months old.

i've never owned a note but i don't think i need that much power and size, etc.

I'd go with the S21. My last phone was the Note 8 and I did not use the stylus enough to justify the Note. I now have the S20plus and it works great, especially the camera.

I dont know the specs of either but my requirements are 5G, min 64 GB internal storage, slot for microSD card, and at least a 4000mAh battery.

So which ever meets those and is cheaper i would choose it.

21 ultra-

5000mAh battery
min is 128 storage, operates on 12 ram, and 16gb ram when you move up to 256.

they are getting rid of external sd card, but I dont record videos enough for that to matter. doesn't make a ton of sense with 8k video, but is what it is.

Thats the one I would go with then. Do you know if it supports wifi6 (AX) or not?

Guess you could back up the videos to Google drive and pull them down to the computer when you need more space.

Note is only one for the SD. The 20 Ultra. The new 21's don't have that feature this year. And Note is more expensive.
