On public land I don't see more hunters, its the same guys. What I do see is crossbows and fewer deer, like way fewer, I can only assume its because of the effectiveness and range of the legal weapons now.

I don’t own and have never fired a crossbow. I sure seems like bow season however, when I am using my compound with a trigger release even with I know that some other guy is using a traditional long bow and another is using a crossbow....
