Any of yall wear these sunglasses retainers? If so, do you wear the adjustable or non adjustable?

I’ve had 2 pair of the adjustable and they both fell apart where the cable is joined to the rubber piece that slips on the ear piece.

I’ve used the adjustable for years, love them. Comes in handy when riding in the boat I can tighten them down to stay or, or tighten them to wear under a toboggan or hood

I've had numerous sets of cable. I've had adjustable wear out and come apart, but I just go get more. I haven't found anything better! My current set/ pair has a black coating on them.
