    Covert camera issue.

Seems like every other time I swap out batteries in my ATT Code Blacks, I have issues getting them up and running again.

Covert says card issues. I'm using Transcend class 10 32g cards. They were recommended on here.

The cameras have ran perfect on those cards until battery swaps.

I've updated FW, formatted cards, etc ...

Anyone else have these issues & have a fix ?

Right now I have 2 cams "down".

    Thanks, D.

Re-seat your SIM card. Delete your pics in the card and format. Make sure your antennas are tight.

      ^^^^^

By delete pics, do you mean format? Or put card in computer & delete, then format in camera?

      I've re-seated the sim.

Format in the camera will delete them. Sorry for the confusion.

          I've done all that.

Last time covert had to email me a file that I saved to sd card then put in camera to fix it. PIA !

I run all sandisk and have never had a card issue in any of my cameras. Also have some Samsung cards that work just fine, but sandisk in my Coverts.

Anytime I run into issues I do a full reset.

Post #16 in this thread seems to always get mine up and running again.

Sounds like you need to delete pics from the card while in the camera menu setup.

                  SanDisk 16gb Class10 is what I run.

If none of that works, hit up their website and get on a chat with them thru the website. Super easy amd fast 95 percent of the time.

I guess the obvious question is how is your signal? I use transcend cards and have been since 2009 with all my cameras. No issues in my Brownings or Coverts. The only Covert out of my 6, I have any issue restarting is the one where the signal is suspect. It’s a booger to get to hook back up but it eventually does. Took me 10 plus attempts one day. I don’t go through the mess of reformatting unless I am upgrading the firmware but I did that day. resetting the sim, formatting, setting back to default setting is a good start like discussed. But none help if your signal is suspect.

                      SD card?

This cam is in my back yard. 60-80% signal.

Just went through "post 16" from thread mentioned above. Seemed to work. Even sent a manually taken photo, instantly.

But after me, Ethan, & Boaris dancing in front of cam for 30 minutes....... nothing. No more pics.

And 1/2 the time (or most times) the card reads 000000/000000m when I 1st power cam on. Have to "re-seat" sd card for it to register 000000/035142m. ???

Gonna try new cards (again) I reckon. That's why I bought the Transcends for, and it worked, initially.

                      Thanks for the input, Gentlemen.

What is your maximum images a day set on?...
                        Your trigger interval?
                        Your trigger interval unit?

OK...just checking....We have solved some problems when folks reset and the max number of images goes to 1 or 0 for some reason. I'm not much help from here on out....

On cell cams I would go no less than 3min on trigger intervals, preferably 5min. Some can get away with it with excellent signal
