    Wire stripping/twisting tool

Looking at a wire stripper/wire twister.
    Seeing mixed reviews.

Any ones out there that work, I have a bunch of 12 gauge romex to terminate and looking at options.

Go with Klein all the way. Used them for 30 plus years as a Industrial Mec.

Klein all day. Hit up home depot for what you are talking about.

Are you talking about one of these things?

If so save your money. There’s a reason no electrician I’ve ever seen used one. Interested to hear. TBH electrician opinion... if this is what you’re talking about.

THAT is a new way to splice that is slowly working its way into the industry. I personally have not ever used that style of splicing. It is a time saver and will cut back big time on the carpal tunnel for sure. Which is a good thing.
I am old school and still skin with my linesman's(little pinch/slight wriggle and pull off insulation) twist/splice by hand and apply scotchlok(wirenut). Still wrap wire around screws on devices and tail off receptacles. I retired in 2017 after 35 years. So much has changed. Klien tools are still great tools for electricians.

I'd like to hear what Mike D says about this tool. He is an electrical contractor I believe. Wonder if he uses this.

That's the tool. Only makers I see are off brands and that was a flag for me.
Wanted to get some experts to chime in that may haver tried them.
Lineman plyers are all I have ever used.

Yeah I didn’t mean to say I know from. Pro’s perspective. I have one and probably need to spend some time to get it down, but it’s one of those things that seemed gimmicky but was cheap enough to try so I bought one. It’s finicky to say the least but like anything probably needs practice.

Sharp knife and a pair of women friends twisted in the correct direction.
