USMC Stepbro advice?

Thanks guys. I qualified with an M-14 shooting 200, 300 and 500 meters.

i was 90-94. So same thing with M16. I think they switched to the optics around 2012ish. Think they also switched to M4s about the same time.

I also just learned from him that about a year ago all wear the same uniform, male and female. Got rid of all the female uniforms. And apparently its not cool to call them WMs anymore.

Make sure he watches Full Metal Jacket...... But seriously other than basic rifle terminology, just let the DIs teach him to shoot. 97 is a long time ago, so IDK what all they do with them now.
